TacMan provides navigational feedback through tactile means to the visually impaired. Orientation is described with the left hand segment and direction through the right, aiding independent travel for those who struggle with current, un-inclusive systems. The grid system is fluid and can mould to any information required as seen in the sketches shown below
In its separated state, each half of the control can operate respectively to allow for either ease of movement for user, or single-handed use.
The materials for the extrusion pellets is lightweight rubber. The beige colour is both to accompany aesthetics, and to contrast the darker main body, for the less severely visual impaired users.
